Elements of Learning

Elements of Learning is a photographic and sound installation that encouraged viewers to talk freely about the terms, symbols, traits, features, history, and oral history of learning differences. Part of the exhibition was a series of large scale gelatin silver prints that explored my collection of school icons and idols. In part of the gallery I created a working photographic portrait studio and recorded the oral history of the person sitting for their portrait.
