Dear Grandma. Am sending you a picture of Bert. He is in New York, and expects to go to France soon. Uncle Frank Ammarn is not expected to live. Has cancer of liver and there is no hope at all. Papa and Aunt Jill brought him from Alliance hospital yesterday and are going to take him home today but the Dr. says he will not stand the trip. Joyce.
